About UbiCare
The UbiCare Story
UbiCare was established in 2003 with a simple goal: To deliver trustworthy, targeted parenting education beyond the point of care. Over the years, our content library has expanded across the entire healthcare enterprise, and we have helped ~400 healthcare organizations educate and engage populations worldwide.
The Technology
For the past decade, Chris Turner, CTO, has led our SmarteXp® engagement platform. SmarteXp helps organizations reach more patients — including marginalized and at-risk populations — with access and information they need to achieve better outcomes. It’s used to eliminate bias, meet Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) goals, and automate and scale patient education to free overburdened healthcare professionals.
The Content
Our content is developed to create sustained relationships, personalize communications, cater to different learning styles, and address the social, emotional, and environmental factors that are proven to affect patient understanding, trust and satisfaction.
“Your post-op emails helped me to know what to expect & watch for. I was able to recognize I had a serious issue and tell my husband, "Call an ambulance, I think I have a blood clot. He was able to share the info with the EMT's, and they found a Saddle blockage.
Your patient education has definitely made a difference in my life!”
– Total Joint patient, MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center
Our distinctive communication strategy proactively marries the patient journey to organizational needs. We build in surveys, interactive content, and remote monitoring to uniquely influence adherence and outcomes.
Unmatched Support
You are never alone when you partner with UbiCare. SmarteXp is designed for quick implementation, yet there are many opportunities to customize your program. With our flexible technology, you can automate enrollment or integrate SmarteXp into your digital ecosystem. We continuously apply the knowledge we have gained over two decades in digital patient engagement to power your success.
UbiCares
Doing well by doing good — that's UbiCare's motto. Through our UbiCares social responsibility program, we dedicate time to our community each quarter.
Some of the organizations with which we regularly volunteer include:
Community Servings creates and delivers medically tailored meals to people living with critical and chronic diseases in Massachusetts.
Cradles to Crayons works to fight Children’s Clothing Insecurity directly in Chicagoland, Massachusetts, Greater Philadelphia, and NYC, and focuses on raising national awareness of this urgent crisis.
Victory Programs’ ReVision Urban Farm is an urban agriculture project that provides access to affordable, nutritious and culturally appropriate food to residents of the ReVision Family Home and extended community.
We are honored to partner with these important organizations that do well by doing good every day.
